Married dependent on parent’s plan – TRICARE

Hi all, my fiance and I had plans to get married. Over the summer, my fiance, her mom, and me read on my health insurance plan and on multiple websites that married dependents and their spouse can be on their parents’s plans. For example, I recall reading that I could remain on my parents’s plans and she could stay on her own.

Now, TriCare is saying my fiance will not be eligible on her parents’s plan and that she will have to enroll in Tricare Young Adult instead. This was not the case previously.

I also noticed in my updated plan documents that they removed any mention of married dependents.
