Maternity Question

I pay out of pocket (self-employed) to Pennsylvanias marketplace (pennie.com) – I went with Independence Blue Cross HMO plan

Currently pregnant and have been seeing OB at a “tier 1” medical group. Everything is covered so far. Only had to pay $40 copay for my first appoitment. This medical group only delivers at 1 hospital, which has the same name. But the hospital is “tier 3” – which means more $$ from us when we deliver. I don’t want to switch because I like my doctors, but how can I fight this or make it right? It makes no sense that the doctors office for my routine checkups are tier1, and hospital is tier3.

Its still “in network” but it is saying that it will be double the amount a tier1 delivery would be.
