Anyone know what is the asset limitations of accepting Medi-Cal as a non senior and what penalties will I incur if I am found to have a lot more assets then the maximum allowed?
I called in to Affordable Cares Act (Obamacare/ACA) to see about getting it but was told I didn’t qualify because of too low income so they applied for me instead to Medi-Cal without asking about if I had any other assets. I’ve seen the general doctors and dentists since my approval. I’ve recently been told by a friend that I may not have qualified since I have some money in stock market. Now I’m worried about if I still qualify and what penalties do I face? Thanks
