(MI) Is it possible for a representative get you tax credit when you couldn’t do it yourself?

I make less than 24k a year after tax, do not qualify for Medicaid and my job insurance situation is very complicated. Pretty much I’m on my mothers insurance which cancels on the 21st, my job offers insurance but we are going through a sell. If I got on my jobs insurance it wouldn’t start for 30 days and the sell will happen before then. THEN with the new company I will have to wait 30 days to apply for insurance. Same job, different people signing the paycheck. Because my job “offers insurance” I was scared to complete my application since I wasn’t going to get insurance anyway if it cost more than $100 a month. I mentioned all of this to a MI representative (not the part about where I didn’t want it unless it was cheap) and he somehow got me FREE health insurance. It’s BCBS Silver and I’m worried that he did something fraudulent to help me… we did it on a phone call and HE did my application. Are these lines recorded? Can I get in trouble? The only thing I need to prove is that I am not currently enrolled in Medicaid. I also was prompted to enter when I was denied from Medicaid, which I could not bypass since I was never denied but I know I didn’t qualify. He somehow bypassed this… please reassure me and say that as long as they do it I can’t get in trouble????? How did he get it for me for free if I couldn’t?????
