So as the title says I missed open enrollment. I applied for a plan January first, got an insurance card in the mail and apparently they also sent me a rejection letter a couple weeks later for my application for health insurance that I never received. Was on the phone with them for like 3 hours today and basically got told to get fucked and try to reapply in November. So now I’m looking at options because my state (ri) has a tax fee if you don’t have health insurance. I was looking into short term health insurance but it sounds like that wouldn’t help the tax credit situation.
Anyone have any suggestions?
