I have healthcare.gov insurance in Illinois but I just moved to Indiana this week and need to pick up a couple prescriptions but my insurance is denying them. I just applied for insurance In Indiana using the healthcare.gov phone number and they said it could take up to 30 days for a decision to be made. Does that mean I have wait for Indiana to approve me or deny me in order to get my prescriptions? They are a bit pricey.
In hindsight I wish I would have applied for Indiana insurance a month ago but this move was very sudden. Just wish I could pick up these prescriptions as they would help me, they are controlled. I would drive to Illinois but it’s a 4 hour drive. At the end of the day I can wait it’s not that big of a problem just more frustrating.
