I would appreciate any help I can get. We currently have Medicaid in Ca, but will be be getting on the ACA when we move to Ga next month. We were supposed to close on a house at the end of this month, so I went ahead and filled a healthcare.gov application before the 15 of this month so we wouldn’t have a gap in coverage. I figured even though we had to be on the road a week, technically with the closing date by the end of April, we would officially be a resident there. Then we lost that house, found another one and now the closing date has changed to May 7. In addition we have given the previous owner permission to stay in the house until May 17 since we have to drive there anyway. So now, I have an approved application with the wrong address, and no plan picked. I basically have no idea how these dates work. Medicaid stops when I leave Ca, I think I’ll have a gap in coverage if I wait until June 1st. My main concern is driving across country with no insurance. What a mess
