My employer is offering me, a part-time employee (less than 30 hours a week average), insurance. Do I have to take it over my current marketplace insurance plan?

I’ll try to sum this up as best as I can.

My employer offers insurance to part-time employees once they’ve worked a full year averaging 20+ hours a week, and I was wondering if this disqualifies me from receiving my tax credit through the ACA that reduces my copay.

I live in Florida.

I have a great health insurance plan through the ACA right now. I’m young and going though school, so I only need it for mainly therapy and emergencies.

I just qualified for my employers insurance plan (the plan meets the standard requirements for the ACA), but it’s a terrible plan for my needs. Essentially, I wouldn’t be able to see my therapist anymore. I make less than $20k a year, and would have to pay just over $100 a month through my employers plan. My therapist of over a 1.5 years would be 10% after a $500 deductible, which isn’t affordable for me.

So, because my employer has offered me insurance, does this disqualify me from getting the tax credit to reduce my marketplace copay?

Please feel free to ask any follow-up questions for any clarification.
