We went for our yearly checkup and had the following blood tests: CBC W Auto Diff, Comprehensive Metabolic Panel, Lipid Panel, TSH Third Generation, HIV Test, and Hepatis C (was told that “insurance companies are requesting” the last 2). We also each had a Urinalysis.
My EOB lists SUVO once and LABO 4 times but doesn’t give any specifics on what each test was labeled as. His EOB lists SUVO once, WALO 3 times, and LABO twice and again doesn’t give any specifics.
We have GEHA Elevate. Neither of us has met our deductible for the year. He is the policyholder but I am included on the insurance. I do not have any other health insurance plan.
I did have a pap smear the day before the bloodwork was done but that should be free, right?
I am reaching out to the insurance company via their contact us page because I want written statements but I was curious if anyone else has run into this before and knows what causes it?
