My knee randomly dislocated for the first time. How do I report this to insurance to get the most coverage?

I (F24) was just walking in my house and my knee randomly dislocated, causing me to fall down immediately. This was the first time this has ever happened to me.

The first time it happened, I was in a lot of pain and couldn’t move so my boyfriend called 911. By the time I got to the hospital, my knee popped back into place and I wasn’t in a lot of pain, but I think my adrenaline was just racing. They gave me crutches and a brace and told me that I could start walking again in 1 week.

1 week later, I walk a few steps with my brace on and my knee popped back out. It also popped out again the next morning when I was getting out of the bed. It popped out a total of 4 times in 1 week. The more it happened, the more pain I felt.

The first 2 weeks since my first fall, I was in a lot of pain and would immediately take Advil when I woke up. Now the pain and swelling have gone down and I start Physical Therapy tomorrow.

I just received paperwork from my insurance company, where they’re asking me to give more information about the incident. Any tips for reporting this so I get the most coverage?

One question asks: “Was the injury related to 1. Car accident 2. Work accident 3. Other (slip & fall) accident 4. No accident

Since I my knee dislocated before I fell, should I choose option 4, no accident? My knee dislocation was the reason why I fell, but it didn’t dislocate as a result of a fall…if that makes sense.
