I want to apply for insurance on the marketplace for the Affordable Care Act/Obamacare. We’re very willing to pay for the premiums that come with applying and obtaining coverage, but she doesnt hold legal document like a work authorization card that comes from “Deportation Withheld.” However, my father can obtain a work authorization card that comes from it. The healthcare marketplace says that if the applier has this card, they are eligible to apply. Can my mother, as my father’s wife, apply for for health coverage with that?
Or can I apply for private insurance and that would be the same thing?
