Okay i live in Indiana. I tried to apply for HIP awhile ago, but i was super confused because i was called by an insurance guy and he basically scammed me into getting private insurance but i wisened up and canceled that before it started. So i thought that was the end of that, so i applied for medicaid on Healthcare.gov. I was elligable and was going through the process, and i made a mistake on my income though it didn’t matter too much as i fixed it the next day. So let me get to the problem im confused about. i have been getting a lot of mail and i am super confused. The Applications to medicaid were denied due to duplicate application. it sent me that twice becuase i had to fix the income issue. (i’m assuming it waas denied because the HIP application?) by the way i make about $1400 a month. Anyway both times i also got sent mail about HIP. I was confused because i thought nothing happened with that at all. However it says i have been enrolled in HIP Plus and that my health plan has received my fast track pre-payment on my first contribution to my POWER account. and that my health coverage under HIP Plus begins on September 1, 2021. I’m super confused because i don’t even know how to access my power account or anything. I selected Anthem suring the application process for HIP if that helps. I just need help because I’m getting a lot of mail and i’m super confused if i have insurance or if there are more steps or if i messed something up.
