So I just started a new job last week and I’m eligible to enroll in healthcare. I just found out yesterday my wife is pregnant so we’re gonna be racking up the doctor/ hospital bills over the next few months. My company uses blue cross blue shield. You would think the PPO plan would be the best but I’ve been reading a lot about people who spent close to 8,000 out of pocket just to have a kid on the PPO plan compared to people who have the enhanced protection plan or even the code protection plan and are paying just a few hundred. I’m hoping someone on Reddit could please give me some guidance as to what the best option would be!
