Need some basic insurance 101 answers…

So I was looking at the medical insurance my company has, which are all HDHPs, the only tiers I would be okay paying for goes from $3500ish deductible (double for family, which is just me and my husband) for in network or double that for out of network (so four times for family out of network) options are anetna or innovation

Never had HDHP before so here’s my question, as two young mid 20s (maybe went to clinic for check up/doc visit 1-2 times each a year..) it kind of seem like we would never even hit the lowest deductible…meaning I’m paying for a medical insurance I’ll never be able to actually use for a few years unless sth big happens?? Is that right..I also see max out of pocket (seems pretty high up there) and a bunch of copay or Wtv percentage for each Type of service listed but is it correct to say if deductible is $3500 I have to spend at least that to get to my insurance regardless of type of visit

The only thing attracts me to HDHP is HSA so I can use for investment but idk if this is worth it
