Negotiating an ER bill help

A few months ago, I went to the hospital for outpatient twice for pneumonia. I believe my insurance, which was extremely useless (I am switching to a better one next month) basically covers very little until the deductible was met.

I already plan to fight two charges (a duplicate blood test charge, blood was only drawn once and there was no need for that test to be ran twice and the other a pregnancy test, I am a man). I also believe a Covid test was done (Biofire respiratory) both times that my insurance did not touch (but I believe the rules were that insurance HAD to cover all covid related testing). The hospital specifically told me there wasn’t a specific test for pneumonia and that’s what the x-rays were for. The second time, they also ran a procalcitonin test, my question is why that wasn’t ran the first time and if I can fight that one (also, I checked online and that test should cost a lot less than I was charged and that test was hella expensive).

I’m not expecting the entire charge to disappear by any means, but reducing it would help me a lot. How do I fight the duplicate test charge and pregnancy test for starters? And then is there any way to convince them to take less money after that?

*edit, I live in Maryland, the hospital I used was GBMC

Thanks!
