I hope this is the right place to post this. So prior to the pandemic, my mom and dad had health insurance coverage with horizon via the Marketplace. Pandemic hits and they become unemployed. My mom qualified for Medicare and I think my dad did as well but he never received paperwork. There was some kind of issue with the post office.
When it was my mom’s turn to renew her Medicare this year, I called them up and they stated that they were giving extensions due to Covid. Fast forward to this month, my dad tells me he is getting emails to fill out his health care application to see if he qualifies. (Deadline is the 15th)
My question is, I will be helping him fill out the form, should I include the information for my mom as well? I’m confused if I should do it via Medicare for her and marketplace for my dad. I tried calling a few times but they need them to be with me in order for me to speak on their behalf and it’s been difficult with work.
They are both working again but limited hours
