New Marketplace “savings”

So I got an email stating that due to new COVID relief bill I could have higher tax credits available. I went to the website, entered updated income information (I had changed jobs since I last applied, but income didn’t change much). I was happy to see that I was eligible for a small increase in savings! About $16 a month. I wanted to keep my current plan that I am very happy with ($0 deductible, $15 primary care copay, $2800 out of pocket max).

When I looked at the enrollment page however, it’s showing that the same plan I am currently with, now has a $3500 deductible and way higher costs for everything! So yes, I’d be paying less a month for the “same” plan, but that plan has significantly changed since I enrolled last year!

Has anybody noticed anything similar? This feels like a huge scam! I am not planning on moving forward with enrollment, so that nothing changes.
