I know this is very plan specific…. but after going through fertility treatments, I have unfortunately learned way more about healthcare coverage than I have ever cared to. To preference: my employer only offers a high deductible or higher deductible plan and I’ve always been needing some sort of medical intervention in my entire adult working life so I loved when we had the old PPO plans…. I’m just curious if anyone else has noticed an increasing amount of medical related items just not being covered at all even after trying to work with insurance to see if anything was wrong on the billing end that would make it covered? This is so frustrating because not only is it not covered, that entire portion of the bill is OOP and it doesn’t count toward deductible or max OOP….. I have worked for my company for 8 years and the insurance provider has remained the same as the plans for the most part on coverage (other than costs keep increasing for the plan).
Sorry for the typo in the headline…. I can’t change it!
