OOP max vs deductible?

So I found an insurance plan thru Highmark with a $0 yearly deductible (in network) but a $6,500 out of pocket max amount. I’ve been trying to understand the difference between OOP and a deductible, but everything I’m finding makes them sound exactly the same.

Are there situations where I’d have to pay the $6,500 all at one time? The entire reason I need a plan with a $0 deductible to meet before services are covered is because I have no way of paying thousands of dollars up front.

Since there is no yearly deductible to meet on this plan, would I be incorrect in assuming I’d only be required to pay the $175 copay for outpatient surgery as long as it’s in the network?
