Posting on behalf of my sister. Symbicort is the only medication that works for her asthma and they’re refusing to cover her medication. None of the other options work for her and they want 250 dollars per month for her medication. Is there anything we can do to get her medication to an affordable amount? This is absolutely batshit and she’s at the point where she’s wondering why they’d rather pay for an ER visit for her asthma than the medication. Any advice is appreciated. She makes 15 an hour and we live in Dallas/Ft. Worth, TX area. Thanks. She works 30 hours a week.
