I have a self funded policy through my employer that uses Anthem for pricing and Ameriben as the administrator. I submitted a few out of network claims at the beginning of August and none of them have been processed after four months.
Ameriben has said they’re still with Anthem and said to reach out to them directly. Does anyone have any tips or ideas to get this resolved? I’ve been told that since this is a self funded policy, the DoL’s claim processing timeline doesn’t apply.
