Out of network reimbursement but never received a bill

My wife got a Covid test back in August and on my health insurance app it shows the claim was denied because it was out of network. We never received a bill for the test but I just got a check in the mail for out of network reimbursement. Should I just cash the check and hope I never get the bill? Do I need to contact my insurance company and tell them? Is there possibly an unknown bill floating around out there somewhere that might eventually show up? The Covid testing center was a “free testing site” and never asked her for any personal info, they just had her write down her name and insurance info, didn’t even ask for address or phone number.
