Parents are telling me i NEED to tell/show them my income and taxes if i want to stay on the family health insurance plan, no idea how true this is?

As my title says, they said I need to give them all of my income details in order for their health insurance plan to know how much they need to pay. I’m a dependent on their taxes and from what I know this doesn’t sound like the truth, can ANYBODY weigh in on this? I am suspicious about this and I’m not comfortable revealing any details of my income to them.

I’m 19 and made over $12,400 in 2020 all online, still haven’t even filed for my own taxes yet (i will). Their health insurance plan specifically is NJ FamilyCare with AETNA. Any help is appreciated!
