Going to try and keep this short and sweet.
I have been paying my medical bills through my health insurance website, as they offer an option to pay through them.
I have thousands of dollars I have paid to date this year, and my bank account shows each invoice amount coming out of my account.
However! My insurance company takes my payment and then issues a check via mail. Well come to find out they expire/void the check if not cashed by x amount of days. Those dates are now approaching and I have collection agencies calling me because the hospital is not cashing the checks they mail out.
I have proof that I’ve paid on time, so how do I get these debt collections off my record?
