I’m looking for some clarification on how Medicaid is working during the public health emergency. I know it is extended but I received a letter in the mail saying I will be switched from North Dakota Medicaid to Medicaid expansion. They also sent me an insurance card for the Sanford expansion plan. Are they allowed to downgrade my coverage now?
I got on Medicaid a little over a year ago when I was pregnant so I technically wouldn’t qualify for the standard Medicaid coverage I have now even if we were income eligible I don’t think. I obviously would like to keep the better coverage if I can otherwise I have to completely switch all my healthcare providers 😩
