I already know that in January will have a medical procedure which will cost at least $5000, then potentially a birth delivery later in the year. With that being said, which plan to pick from?
HSA Bronze $4500 deductible, $7,000 max out of pocket, coinsurance 40% – $460 per month Silver $2350 deductible, $8,700 max out of pocket, coinsurance 50% – $565 per month Gold $750 deductible, $8,700 max out of pocket, coinsurance 30% – $670 per month
The HSA advantage is that my company can put aside for me $3200 (the max and full deposit on Jan 1). Being my company, I can also write off that amount ($3200), so it becomes an expense to the LLC and potentially 20-30% tax reduction on that $3200.
Which one makes most sense?
