Hi guys – I recently just enrolled in health insurance at my work (was previously on my dad’s plan) and I have been wanting to get allergy shots for awhile as I get allergy very bad.
I am trying to see if my plan covers allergy shots. Under “allergy test, serums, and injections” in my plan, it says this:
“100% after copay: $30 PCP/$45 specialist when part of office visit; copay/deductible waived if there is no office visit charge for the injection”
I seriously don’t have a clue what this means. After copay? Copay waived if no office visit charge? I’m so confused. I just want to know what % of the price of allergy shots they will pay and what % of the price of allergy shots I will pay.
Thank you in advance.
EDIT: if it’s any help, My plan is Aetna Choice POS II
