My mom has me listed as her dependent for Medicaid and we’ve both been receiving it for a while now. But a couple days ago, I started a SNAP benefit application and entered in my social security number and an estimate of my income in 2020. I saved the application but never actually applied or sent it anywhere. Then today, my mom got an email from Medicaid stating that my income was revised and our income level is too high (it was about a thousand dollars higher). I had PUA since march of 2020 and received different incomes for different months because the benefit amount kept changing. For 4 months I received $3452 each month, for another 4 months $1052 each month, for 1 month I received $2252, and the other 2 months I was unemployed. In the email, Medicaid stated my income for 2020 was $3500. My mom never listed my income on the medicaid site (from what I know they cannot look up your income themselves) and now my dumb mistake has led us to be without Medicaid. I don’t know what to do. I have medical issues and appointments coming up really soon and I am so stressed and freaking out. If anyone can help I’d really appreciate it.
