39+5 So I had to go to the Labor and Delivery tonight for headaches… they were concerned about preeclampsia. I was hoping they would just say take another Tylenol.
Anyways, I am getting discharged tonight and going home. I am in the US and have decent health insurance but I am nervous that I will get billed 100% of the cost since I don’t have preeclampsia. It is not uncommon for insurance to deny coverage for things that they deem “medically unnecessary”. Meaning that since it was not an actual emergency per my test results they will say it was not necessary to go in.
Ugh I am going to be worried about this bill for the next month.
