As the title notes, I’m currently using a covered California plan. I have Kaiser and don’t want to leave. I’m 28 weeks pregnant and would prefer to have the baby and I both maintain a Kaiser plan. I’ll pay out of pocket for the plans if I have to.
Currently, my income lands me at 138% FPL for 1 person, but will drop to 100% for 2 people. My understanding is that this will drop me to only qualify for Medi-Cal but no longer Covered CA(?)
Again, I’d prefer to stay at Kaiser and not have to shift to Medi-Cal (which I think is my only option at that point?).
Can anyone clarify how the FPL brackets work? Or explain what my options may be for the baby to be covered?
