sock acc, i’m new to this level of being an adult. 27yo, income ~35k
Currently in NJ 07005. I have health insurance through my employer but my last day of work is 2/4. I’m out of the country until 2/15, then moving to TX 77006. I assume it’ll be a few days on the road. I know moving states is a QLE so I’d be allowed to apply through healthcare.gov, right?
-Would it be better to apply now during open enrollment with my NJ address and update after I move? Since that closes in a few days. -If I wait until I’m physically in TX to apply, do I also need to wait until I update everything else with USPS/MVC/etc? How long until I officially have coverage?
I’m not having any health issues right now but having last minute catastrophic thoughts, thanks
