My SO and I were on his previous employers’ health insurance, and since leaving that job we are still covered under that plan until August 31, 2021. My plan is to switch to my own employer’s insurance since that will be a qualifying event come August.
If I have a preventative care appointment (such as a well woman exam) on the current insurance…once the qualifying event happens will I be able to have another well woman on the new insurance plan?
They are both BCBS (not sure what other information would be relevant or helpful!)
