Sorry for the basic question. My wife is putting her two weeks in on May 15, quitting her job June 1, and her job will cover her health insurance through the end of the month (until July 1).
She would therefore be eligible to get health insurance through the ACA marketplace, due to this qualifying event, right?
If so, how soon should/can we apply for marketplace coverage? Between June 1 – July 1? (We will have to supply proof she quit, correct? so I’m assuming we need to apply after she’s left the job?)
