Hi everyone – I have a pre-existing condition that requires surgery. I have insurance but it has no out of network coverage. I also have an SCorp that I created that I will be using for consulting work for a friend in 2021. My question is from a legal perspective once I start paying my other employee for this SMB (I have another full time job) can I legally buy my own plan for me and my employee that is open market, pay a crapload of premiums but pick my hospital of choice for a 6 Figure Surgery?
I worry about claim denial but the coverage is fully open, I guess I’m more worried about the legal side of this?
