Question: Insurance case managers ask tons of personal questions, why?

So I have Tufts Health Together and given by Medicaid.

I was starting to shy away from the weekly interview like phone calls that ask all about my health, well being, employment

Now I got extra spooked by this letter that is pushing really hard to get back to talking with me on phone…what could they possibly want with these questions?

is it to possibly gather info that could lead to a denial of services? If I needed a surgery (which I did) and I claim that I said “I was getting better” maybe they could try to use that?

Please let me know so I don’t end up compromising my access to health care!

thanks
