I have United Healthcare / Oxford and last week I noticed that all of my EOBs are coming in through the website saying $0 owed (also getting the same thing with the hard copies that I get in the mail). The thing is… I’ve had a few things done that would, at least to my understanding end in a copay or balance billing. I made a call to customer service last week and they claimed everything was correct. I, on the other hand feel like it is most definitely not.
For instance, I just had an ultrasound done at a hospital it and says I owe $0.. my plan on the other hand says I’m responsible for 50% before my deductible is reached. How could this be? I also just had a therapy appointment where I know I paid a $30 copay, and it says I would also owe $0.
Obviously free healthcare (yay) but y’all know this is going to come bite me in the ass with a giant wave of bills at some point in the near future. What the heck do you even do in this circumstance?
