Questions about Biologics

My health insurance recently approved the use of Xolair due to a skin condition (chronic hives). I received my first injection (free) in my allergy doctor’s office on March 20th.

My symptoms persisted, so I made an appointment with my dermatologist. She recommended dupixent bc she thinks atopic dermatitis presenting in a different way.

My question is how will this look to my insurance company? They approved the Xolair immediately. I don’t wish to continue the Xolair if dupixent is the better option.

I’m afraid that the dupixent won’t be approved since I was just approved for Xolair.

Any advice on navigating this process please?
