I was given a referral by my doctor to a specific location for a biopsy (the same who did my ultrasound and found the suspicious module), but the biopsy center is not answering ANY of my phone calls or emails. It’s been 5 days and I can’t get ahold of anyone.
Can I take the referral sheet to any place that will perform a biopsy? I’m on a PPO, and live in NYC so tons of options for places to go in network. I have access to the radiologists notes too.
