Hi there. So a couple weeks ago i went to urgent care for chest pain. All that was done at this visit was the doctor listened to my heart and talked about how it most likely was anxiety. Nothing else at the visit was done, no blood draw, no EKG, no prescriptions. Nothing. Come today I get a bill of $393 with insurance paying $213, leaving me with a bill of $180 for what essentially was a conversation! I called my insurance and they said there was nothing they could do about it. I plan to call the urgent care directly but I’m not sure how much power I would have in terms of waiving or greatly reducing the bill. Any advice would be appreciated!
