I got an ultrasound for cancer screening and the doctor recommended it. I am still on my parents insurance and I’m looking at my online bill pay, and it all says I owe $0 and that the pending insurance will cover all of it.
The last time I needed this screening though, I wound up having to pay $100. Although that time the nurse gave the recommendation. Maybe that has something to do with it?
I guess my question is: if it says pending insurance will cover all the costs, is that something I should feel confident will happen?
