My dad passed away a week ago. He and my mom live in another country, we are in CA. We’re looking into the feasibility of bringing my mom to live with us, but my main concern is healthcare coverage options and its cost. She is >65 and would have little/no income, though she does have some assets.
I’ve done some cursory reading online but can’t seem to get anywhere close to an actual answer for the question: is she eligible for Medicaid/Medicare and what would her premium be?
I’d greatly appreciate any advice…
