My best friend (36, F, NJ ) is in unique situation, I want to help but I am not able to due to lack of knowledge. So I am posting the question here.
Her husband runs a small company but not making more than 50K – 55K a year. She is not employed right now and found out that she is pregnant. Her doctor is suggesting to get health insurance as soon as possible to order test but she has no idea which one. She is also dealing with early pregnancy symptoms. So asked me for help.
Folks, can you please suggest which health insurance to buy? Should she buy just for herself or for both of them? She is living in NJ and based on my preliminary analysis NJ makes you go through https://nj.gov/getcoverednj marketplace. Is that any good? Any help will be much appreciated.
