As a self-employed broker, I want to thank everyone involved in expanding the ACA with the American Rescue Act of 2021. I’ve literally had Clients in tears not believing me that their premiums had been cut in half or are gone completely. I just signed up one of my best friends (I didn’t know he didn’t have insurance) with a Cost-Share Reduction plan that costs him nothing with a $1,200 MOOP. His girlfriend actually got on the phone (I’ve talked to her before) to make sure I wasn’t lying and grifting him. IT’S REAL! THE ACA expansion we needed is here and I hope it keeps expanding!
