Any recommendations or advice on if and what type of short term health insurance I might consider to save money? Right now I pay $800/m with $8000 deductible for BCBS individual health insurance; I am healthy, no meds. May 1st (2022) I will start Medicare. So I am thinking it would be nice to save some cash being on a short term insurance plan if even for 6 months before I start Medicare. It really stinks paying BCBS $800 every month for what really is just catastrophic insurance. That said, if I were to get cancer or have brain trauma or a heart attack while on a short term plan, I guess I would be screwed right?
