Hi everyone, I have emblem health under my parents and am currently in college as a freshman. I’ve been having a lot of issues lately, and would like to seek mental health services for myself, but absolutely cannot have EOB’s coming in the mail saying so. My university’s mental health services are apparantly really bad as well, so that’s not an option for me. I’ve tried to talk to my father who is the plan holder numerous times about it but he said he’ll take me off his insurance if I do, and I know for a fact he will, too. I’ve already made an Emblem Health account and set my EOB’s to paperless, but is there anything else I have to do? If someone has experience with this especially with Emblem Health, it would help me so much. I cannot risk my parents finding out about this at all.
