I’m planning on switching from Kaiser to Blue Shield (northern CA) for 2022. I’ve only ever had Kaiser as an adult. Could someone explain to me in simple terms how this works? Do I need to find a doctor and get re-prescribed all of my current medications? Can I just switch the scripts over somehow and start filling them at different pharmacy without a new physician? Does it matter if they have refills left or not? Do I tell my current PCP and have her do something? I checked to make sure the meds are covered under the new plan. I’m just worried about not getting the meds I need in a timely manner after the new year. I’ve tried searching reddit and the rest of the internet for answers without much luck. Any advice would be appreciated! Thank you!
