Synergist Pergatory

Hello, I am in need of help scorching the earth. I have two preemies who are eligible for a monthly Synergist shot (RSV). However, our insurance’s preferred specialty pharmacy is a ridiculous mess that has screwed up our deliveries every month and cost us more than one shot (they delayed so long we went into the next month).

We’ve been trying to use a different pharmacy for the last four months. However, in spite of us (pediatrician) not sending them any information to process this medication & my repeated verbal revocations of their right to process it or access our information at all, they continue to attempt/do so.

I’ve been trying to be nice and just re-verbalize and refuse cooperation. However, I’m done. I’m ready to scorch the earth. So, how do I go about getting them to stop?

I don’t know that their board of pharmacy is the place to go or not? Or if I can literally revoke their privileges to access my Children’s PHI through my insurance? Or are their other regulatory agencies who I can file a complaint with?

I basically want the insurance equivalent to a TPO on this company. All help is appreciated.

Sincerely, An already exhausted twin mom
