I have a mother-in-law coming to help take care of a newborn. She is a chinese citizen on a tourist visa. She is generally healthy but we’d like to get her insurance for emergencies. Are there travel insurance companies that *don’t* suck? I’m looking all the plans available visitorsinsurancereviews.com and they all seem pretty bad… for example “Patriot America” is one of the more expensive ones and there are so many 1-star reviews saying that they didn’t actually cover anything when needed.
Also, are there other options for a Chinese citizen besides travel insurance?
