Want Insight

Hi all,

Just wanted to get insight, since I’ve been yelled at for doing this at a prior employer, don’twantto give out more details that:

If you come in for an ER visit, and you have a plan that your copay, or even patient responsibility would be greater than the self pay discount for that visit would be, I was told that you do not need to use it.

Furthermore, was told if you are in an auto accident or work comp visit, you can choose to self pay too in the ER..

I never heard this before so my mind was blown 🤯🤯

Is that really a thing? Could something that big change?
