Their patient portal is horrible. For example I was looking for a primary care Provider and that’s a suggested search in the portal but it lists doctors that aren’t primary care providers, gynecologists, sports medicine doctors, pediatricians, gastroenterologists, ect… but even then those doctors might not even be at the location many weren’t even in the same city anymore. I live in a pretty large city and the only urgent care here that is in my network is in a CVS that doesn’t do walkins and you’ll be lucky to get a next day appointment. A $500 plan before the tax credit. Trying to find a doctor I have to go on the portal, look for a doctor, google the address to find the medical building/website to find out if the doctor actually works there or if they are even the type of doctor that I am looking for. Only to find out the soonest doctors appointment I can get scheduled is November. Oh well, onto the next doctor on the list. Ambetter is horrible. I went to an optometrist that was in network and they had trouble finding out if they took my insurance.
